Amy Schumer Reveals Split from Husband of Seven-Year Marriage
Star and performer Amy Schumer has announced that she and her spouse, culinary expert Chris Fischer have decided to end their marriage after seven years of marriage.
The Trainwreck star said in a social media post on Friday, alongside a photo of the two of them on the subway, that they had made the "challenging resolution" to part ways and will keep prioritizing raising their son, who is six.
"Peaceful, filled with love and mutual respect! Family forever," she wrote.
Both in their mid-forties, tied the knot in February 2018 and welcomed their son the following year.

Schumer also joked in the Instagram post that the split is not due to recent weight loss and not prompted by Fischer's status as an "award winning chef who can still attract attention".
Fischer won the esteemed James Beard award in the U.S. Culinary category for his 2015 Beetlebung Farm Cookbook: A Year of Cooking on Martha's Vineyard.
